Good threads never die! I pulled my Xport blocks and have had 2 Marine Pure Bricks in the sump but still no real nitrate/phosphate reduction. Mt thought is that the MP blocks are too porous and may actually be functioning as a nitrate factory. I'll prob give them more time and then may go back in time and get a "mini" deep sand bed going in the sump. The joys of reef keeping….
