I've dealt with it, and unfortunately it affects Chromis particiularly hard. My local LFS had uronema in his system and I lost a bunch before switching stores and getting a clean batch. Very rarely will they recover and more often than not it manifests itself in the rest. I had the best luck with chloraquine phosphate.

Sterilize your tank now while everything is new and you don't have a ton of time and money invested. You do not want this to show up later. You need a quarantine tank not only for the chromis, but for all the fish you plan on putting in. There is more than just uronema out there to contend with.

Good luck and I feel for you dealing with the setback. Patience is a difficult but required attribute to possess. Tank build is awesome by the way - especially the algae scrubber. Very clever DIY.

Uronema can be a nightmare ..... and perhaps the best reason for QT. I've had modest success with chloroquine phosphate on anthias in QT. Probably about half survived. The other problem with uronema in the display is that you cannot 'starve' it out like you can with ich. It's the main reason I now avoid green chromis.

The good news is that many fish seem to be immune to it. The QT I had with infected anthias, none of the other fish ever showed any symptoms and now live happily in my display. The other thing is that marine tuberculosis manifests in a very similar way, but requires very different treatment.
