Poll: Pumps off when feeding?

Sounds crazy but prob the best lazyest investment ive ever made, none goes into overflow as my gyre on the other side scoops it all up

It just defrosts, and slowly drops down and then get blown into circulation right???:) amazing idea for my tank! Thank you

Yup but its acually 2 cups and you can ajust the size of the holes at the bottom to give more food. I took the bottom one off to hold some frags

Return stays on and mp40's go into 3 minute feed mode via apex. Seems to work well and no forgetting to turn pumps back on.

I turn off all pumps to feed my 14g biocube. The reason is the fish are relatively clumsy and if they aren't fast enough, the food just gets sucked right to the filter in the back.

For daily fish feeding...I have my reef keeper set to turn return pump off and all powerheads off for 30 minutes except my mp10 which I manually set to feed mode so tank is calm for first 10 minutes then mp10 stirs things up a bit.

For coral feedings...I turn off my return pump and all powerheads for spot feeding for 30 minutes then powerheads come back on for another 30 minutes for broadcast feeding.

I turn off the mp40 but leave the return on.. I feed rods original, once the power head comes back on it distributes the fine particles through out the tank.

My return pump stays ON but I use the Apex Feed mode to set my MP10's/MP40's to 10% constant mode.
