Simple poll question raised to the mass. When going from a fowlr setup to a mixed reef, excluding water params, what typically is more important to get dialed in correctly first. Proper flow (ie turnover, placement, type of current etc… ) or proper lighting intensity and schedule. Typically a lot harder to gauge the reason of coral health and stress issues when your adjusting two things simultaneously. Now I’m not saying turn one thing off completely and then adjust the other. More like peg one at something fixed at a lower level of intensity that still provides sub optimal benefit while your make your adjustment to the other. Pretty certain most people will gravitate to lighting but incorrect flow and also be a silent killer.

DO YOU THINK TECHNOLOGICAL ADVANCEMENTS ARE MORE HELPFUL OR HURTFUL TO REEFING?
