Well I’m in the process of cycling my Saltwater pond. I’m trying to find something that I can use for a cover to keep the jumpers in. I tried mosquito netting. To fragile. I ordered this cargo cover that’s made of Polyester mesh fabric. Looks like it might work. But it’s sagging slightly into the water. Anyone see an issue with The sagging and the polyester fabric touching the water..?

Thoughts, insight?

No issues if its not treated with UV inhibitors or fire retardant.

Polyester filter socks and fiber fill are used quite commonly in reef filteration.

The packaging says polyester mesh fabric. But I just noticed the description says the mesh is polyethylene(HDPE) And the border material is Polyester. Are we still good?

Polyester mesh sounds promising, but the sagging might cause issues. It could trap debris or algae and affect water quality. You might want to elevate it a bit or consider a sturdier frame. Also, check with fellow pond enthusiasts; they might have creative solutions.
