Pompom or pulsing xenia?

I picked up my first coral. It was sold as a pompom xenia but a friend says it's actually pulsing xenia. Is there an easy way to distinguish between the two species?
I posted this in the wrong section earlier. Apologies.

Pom Pom is usually white
Pulsing is silver/blue
