Pond UV on a reef tank?

Quick question. Can I use a uv steriliser on my reef tank sold as a pond steriliser? I have access to a huge one made by Blagdon and not sure why I can’t use it on my tank...any thoughts?

Yeah that one actually says it can be used on aquariums. I can’t find anything on these Blagdon ones. I wonder if there are any fundamental differences.
