I had a 6' long 120 gallon tank that was to be used as the sump but it was too long to fit inside the stand. I was thinking about running it outside next to the stand but the space just didn't work out b/c I want to put a prop system next to the display in the future. So I had to cut it down to about 62" long and 95 gallons. Fun weekend project for me. Still need to route out most of the bracing and install some baffles. Other than that, I got the Sequence Dart and 2 1" Sea Swirls so I am ready to start plumbing once the sump is done.

Thanks guys. I am hoping to finish with the sump this weekend and fill the system with tap water the following weekend for a leak test. If everything works out fine by then, I'll have 350 gallons of NSW delivered to fill the tank initially and add the rocks/sand to let it cycle.

Awesome build. How did you cut the sump? Came out pretty straight.

Thanks Karen :D

reefermadness - the Sea Swirls and WavySeas make a big difference in terms of generating random water movement. I will be putting eductors on all three to increase the actual output. The only other device I will put in the tank is the Tunze WaveBox. I've always loved the wave motion when I am in the ocean. Hopefully, that'll do it so I don't have to put any other powerheads in the tank.
