You probably have AEFW (Apple Eating Flat Worms). Better chuck it in the ocean.

Hello Reefers this is my first Hello thread….
Just wanted to say what the heck??? I just got a pop up ad on my iPhone for the first time on reef2reef and I didn’t like it…. Opinions please

Welcome! Glad you joined in 2018. Better late than never to come over to 'Meet and Greet' Forum.

Don't know that I've ever had a Reef2Reef pop-up on my phone, but I go thru PC browser to access R2R. If I had a R2R app for R2R private messages (sort of like FB messenger), I'd be okay with that since I would have installed a R2R app on my phone, but don't think such an app exists yet today.

Have you considered starting your build thread? I found its a great place to document my tank's evolution for myself. I started tank first then joined, so I'm still finding myself going back collecting pictures & updating historically as well as current state. Once you create your first post in your thread and link it to your account, they will give you build badge (look left, under my ID)

Hi and welcome to Reef2Reef!

[Nano_Tuners]

It’s not a standard pop up. It’s a pop up about a contest where you can win prizes. Come on peeps! Honestly this is just about keeping the community engaged, growing and thriving.

Seriously guys, nothing malicious and its not tracking based ads or anything like that.

These days, you buy anything from a website and they automatically sign you up for their junkmail. I hate that crap, but dont get too bothered by it. And this is nothing remotely that intrusive.
