I am buying the Popbloom RL115. The mount options available look a bit flimsy. Since the Popbloom appears to resemble the Red Sea G2 RL115 I am thinking of using the Red Sea mounting arm for the Popbloom light. Does anyone know if this can be done? Do the mounting holes match?

Thanks!

Im happy to report the RedSea Reef Led mount worked with the Popbloom rl115 I ordered. The mounting holes matched perfectly and the mount included the necessary hardware to attach the light.

The included Popbloom mount was very flimsy but the RedSea is solid. Costs much more but its worth it in my opinion. In addition the RedSea mount has the hinge so you can prop the light up vertically out of the way to have better access to the tank

Hopefully this helps anyone in the future looking for a better mount option for their Popbloom rl115

What is your opinion of the light? thinking of getting 4 of these for my 6ft tank
I like it. It was $175 on ebay so very reasonable. The scheduling and adjusting in the app was a learning curve but there are some good tutorials on youtube
