Porcupine puffer tank size?

My uncle bought a 4ft long 1ft high 1ft wide fish tank but had no space for it so he gave it to me an im looking to start a new reef will this be big enough for maybe 2 puffers some tangs and some clowns (and a couple clean up crew)

Sorry to be the bearer of bad news, but porcupine puffers get big. I wouldn't put one in a tank smaller than 4x2x2 even that's pushing it. Same goes or tangs, they need a lot of swimming space.
If you really want puffers have a look into valentini puffers (or any of the canthigaster family of puffers) I have one in my fowlr and he's hands down the best fish I've ever owned. Full of personality, really cool colour and will interact with you by following you from one end of the tank to the other and beg for food. They can nip at corals from time to time though.

Don't they also make meals out of inverts? Especially shrimps & snails?

They grow fast too. Mine grew from a baby 3 inches to 6 in about a year. He's slowed down a little now but that first year they grow fast. Mine is in a 180g.

How long did you have this cutie for and how big did he get? I assume you no longer have him. I see you are still active in the forum though.
