I have a reef pi setup running (testing before it runs our tank) and I'm pretty sure what happened but I dont know how to fix it. I was going to switch to https but figured since its just on my local, segregated network it was fine on port 80. when i selected http on the drop down it removed the "/80" from the 0.0.0.0 field and then later i reloaded reef pi for a different reason and now it is not responding on port 80 or 8080. So what port would it be on if not specified and can I define the port for this service via SSH via console.. i really dont want to reinstall just to get around this

you can stop reef-pi and use the reef-pi db command to edit the config with desired port number
docs on how to use the db command: https://reef-pi.github.io/guides/troubleshooting/

Its poor UX bug on reef-pi that users get stuck in this way.. i'll work on to fix this

Thanks for the info since I am still just testing this out and not using to run my tank I just reinstalled reef-pi and it only took about 5 minutes to reconfigure the equipment and temp stuff. I'm extremely impressed with the temp control so far it has way less variance than the inkbird unit as far as overshooting my target temp. I plan on letting this system run my QT tank for a few months to see how stable it is but I'm really impressed so far and the other stuff it can do is very appealing.
