Possible coralline?

Tank is around 6 months old. Notice the last few weeks these getting bigger. Definitely have to scrape off can’t scrub. Is this coralline? They are currently green. Thanks

Likely green calcareous algae. You will eventually see the pinks and purples come through on frag plugs, snail shells etc and after keeping your parameters stable for a bit, coralline will take off. Always great to see it begin to cover man made dry rock but it will certainly take some time

I bought live rock at my lfs. But yeah I have some snails with coralline on it along with plugs. So it’s on the right track?

Sounds like it. As the frags grow out and more calcareous algae starts to grow, your alk consumption will likely go up so def keep track of those parameters.

Got it! Also quick question. 90 gal tank with 75 pounds of LR and 80 of sand. Would I be fine doing 5 gal water changes every week? I been told 20% monthly is rule of thumb. Just curious. Thanks

I think you can get away with 5 gallons every week if you're consistent with it. 10% of your water volume every week would probably be more ideal. I'm also not the best person to ask because I have a much smaller tank.
