Possible corral?

We had some stuff pop up in our tank that initially we were thinking algae. But some of the stores around us say it’s possibly coral. No one knows what exactly it is it looks brownish black in the tank but kinda green when you take it out. It’s growing in clumps wherever it likes.

We pulled some out and it’s like seaweed. It’s trying to take over our corals
