Recently bought a dart fish. One night I heard a splash, like something jumped. Didn’t find anything and still can’t find anything. About 4 days go by, no dart fish in tank and no dart fish on floor unless I vacuumed it up without noticing.
Hypothetically if it was dead in my tank right now what’s the worst that can happen? I cannot seem to find it anywhere.

What size is your tank? Your tank might experience an ammonia spike depending on the volume of water you have and the size of the dead fish and the responsiveness of your clean up crew ..

Check your overflow box? Sump? They're really good at jumping into the overflows.
