possible defective bulb

I got this bulb yesterday, it's a 20 k xm de halide bulb. I'm worried about the blur and red spots. Does anyone know if this is a defective bulb, or what it is?

Na, go ahead and run it, it has to do with your color temperature and the gas in the bulb. They have a break in period at the factory to make sure they will fire. No worries.
