I have a coral/snail QT tank. This Toadstool is a permanent member of that tank for now as my Regal Angel wouldn’t leave it alone in my DT. My plan is to quarantine mostly SPS in this tank going forward. I’m very novice when it comes to coral pests. Are these flatworms? And considering my situation, should I dip the coral to get rid of them? I have KCL, which I imagine should work just fine, but please let me know if I’m wrong.

Red Planaria Flatworms Dip it in KCI Potassium chloride and re dip after 5-7 days IMO

Just me but I blow them off leathers. I wouldn't bother dipping unless you do something to kill the rest of them that are in the tank. If there's no fish you could use flatworm exit without risks. I keep a six line in every tank to keep them at bay. I've had to blow them off leathers and shrooms daily but with a predator in the tank I no longer see any.

There’s no fish in the tank as the quarantine tank is mostly to protect DT fish from diseases. I forgot that I had a better picture of these same critters (I think) on the glass. Does it still look like red planaria?

In the last ~4 weeks, I’ve done 4 doses of flatworm exit. Increasing the dose each time. Most of them are gone, but they still linger. Two days ago the dose was 2.4x and the starfish lost control of its arms and I went into emergency mode with 40% water change, lots of carbon, and airline into powerhead aeration. The starfish and everything is fine, but unfortunately, some of the flatworms are also still fine 2 days later (see images). I see some tiny flatworms that could be explained by eggs hatching, but there is also a live flatworm that seems to be nearly the size of a full adult. In other words, I don’t think even huge doses are flatworm exit are killing everything. So I’m looking for advice on what else to try to eliminate them from the tank. And more critically now, I’d like to move some corals to my display tank. Would a KCL dip inbetween moving a few frags to my DT likely be enough to keep the flatworms out my DT?
