did you guys ever think that there are more than 100 different asterina starfish?

Agreed. Probably a lot more than that. But in my case I spent more than 2 years telling everyone they were harmless because the NEVER bothered anything in my tank. Then out of nowhere they started eating softies like they were going out of style. I'm pretty sure they are the same species as they were 2 years ago..lol. For those who have them with no issues...thats awesome. Wish I could...extra reef janitors are always welcome.

Little white ones for me, I have hundreds in my 29 gallon for 2 years, tons of zoas, no problems. Just my experience. Funny thing about the ocean. The biodiversity is HUGE. Making a call on one invert species can be very presumptive.
