Hi everyone. I m looking to buy some potassium chloride and the product I found is 99.3% KCL and has Na4Fe(CN)6 in it as an anti-caking agent. The product is classed as food grade which feels like a good start. Are there any concerns with the anti-caking agent.

thanks

I would stick with a known products tried and used in the reef hobby like potassion p from brightwell or one of the others . I’d be really carefull of inert ingredients and anticaking additives. Make sure that you have a good testing device

I have not used potassium chloride yet but have been using Loudwolf chemicals from Amazon. Their KCL might not have the caking agent in it.

You should be able to find pure KCl without additives on ebay.

I would not use the product you listed but interested in what Randy thinks.
