Potassium dosing...before and after?

Im heading out of town for a week tommorow early morning.

I will increase my chaetogro dosing to 2mlto 3ml a day… 5ml monopotassium phosphate, 2dropsnof isol8 mt and see where my potassium level is next week late Saturday so Sunday morning when I come back…. :)

I add Chaetogro daily. It’s main source is potassium and iron. I dose 1-2mls daily without having Chaeto alage or turf algae atm. (I’ll probably put the ats back one day).

I believe potassium is missing link to our coral growth. (N+P+K)…...

I dont test (maybe I should) and I am also using isol8 mt as well as mono potassium phosphate. It’s a lot of potassium -.-;

I started dosing potassium not too long ago. But I believe in it.
Agreed I added a couple capfuls to my rodi and seen good sps improvement. Don’t even run a fuge lol

I do realize correlation is not causation, but with that being said, ever since I got my potassium level up, my All for Reef consumption has increased significantly. Happy corals!?!
I’ve noticed improvements going from 380 to around 500 over a couple of months. Corals are overall brighter colored and it seems like faster growth, but no data to back it up.

I'm trying to stay around 420 just to be safe. It's hard to judge the accuracy of the salifert test but given a legit margin of error I think that's a spot that I'm going to stay at. But I definitely believe you. Potassium is a major element tied into Coral health and I do believe it impacts color.
