For the longest I have always ran with the mindset of 1 product per dosing head. And to simply increase the number of products you wished to automatically dose, you just simply need to increase the number of doing pumps. But when space starts to become a factor this obvious become easier said then done.

This now have me wondering what common dosing additive can be blended together in a more cocktail like manner that provide steady supplement that may require an occasion correction but does not have any type of involuntary reactions as a result of pre mixing multiply products before hand.

If anyone is already mixing products in a single reservoir, would love to know what you’re mixing and at what ratios

I personally like to keep things separate because theres too many things that could go wrong. Do not ever mix ammonia with anything alkaline, or that could become a major health risk. However, I am also curious what other people do since these heads are quite expensive. We use a lot of them at our facility.

i know a lot of ppl use one called All-for-reef, lol 😄

I dose ammonia and phosphate on one head, but kept needing to remake the stock since phosphate keeps going up. Considering splitting them to two heads.

Brs has a video on what you can combine with the Balling Method. But you still need two pumps for part A and part B.
