Looking for experiences not someone that probs has 0 experience with tangs and got his info offline don't mean to sound harsh but not really a helpful commentShould be in a tank twice that size
Midas blenny purple tang lemonpeel angelfish plenty of swimming room in my tankI have over 130 gallons and my LFS owner refused to sell me one. He has two at his store for sale. Even in the massive frag tanks he has they are still the most aggressive fish in there. We are talking about several 100’s of gallons. They beat the crap out of everything...from a foxface twice the size of the powder, even the huge sailfin he has. The one he has in a smaller tank paces like mentioned above. His main issue with me getting one was the amount of tangs I have already, though. I assume a lot of it would depend on how your tank was laid out (provide lots of swim ways, runs, etc) and what else you stock.
In other words not the answer you wanted to hear.Looking for experiences not someone that probs has 0 experience with tangs and got his info offline don't mean to sound harsh but not really a helpful comment
Sounds like you're actually wanting someone to tell you what you want to hear, not the truth.Looking for experiences not someone that probs has 0 experience with tangs and got his info offline don't mean to sound harsh but not really a helpful comment

Some tangs require more tank size as they get bigger and need more swimming speed, there's a good thread about tank sizes for most tang genus's but i can't find it so here's another decent one. https://www.reef2reef.com/threads/tank-sizes-for-tangs-help-us-create-a-list.82891/Well buddy you just contradicted you're self as yellow tangs require 100 gallon tank and that myfriend is a 90 gallon 4ft tank
