Hey all, my power just went out. My father in law is on his way with generator to help me get the tank back online. Right now the mp60s are running on battery backup. They aren't breaking the water surface, is that something I should do? I don't have any battery powered bubblers on hand.

If you are home, you can use plastic kitchen utensils as stirrer or dip and pour water back in with a bowl of cup. Seriously. Your mp60’s will probably be fine though unles your tank is very large.

Yes will help you can also take a cup fill it with water and dump it into the tank about a foot from the waterline
