I’ve had the tank for 4 months, 2 clowns, CUC, Xenia, and some green star polyp. The power went out twice for a few minutes and then it’s been down now for maybe 10 minutes and their saying it’s gonna be a couple hours. Is there anything I can do to prevent anything terrible from happening to the tank?

Make sure you get circulation of water. Either use a battery operated pump or get a big pitcher and fill it up with water from tank and slowly pour it back in. Do this as often as possible but at least once every 20-30 mins.
keep water moving. try not to stress fish

if you have a battery adapter and a long extension cord, plug it in to your cars cigarette lighter outlet, and plug your Wave makers or powerheads at least

Get a large glass or small pitcher. Dip it in the tank to fill it and poor it back from a few inches above the water surface.
Do this 10 times every 1/2 hour or so.
watch you temp though it should be fine for a few hours.

I have 3 battery operated air pumps. Each with 2 airlines. The one below isn't what I have. Can't find it. I've used several times. Including if I use chemiclean in the tank. Can work via plug or battery. Should have on hand. For my new tank coming in, I got 2 battery backups to plug my mp40's into.

Large plastic spoon and gently stiring water often, few times per hour....

Once there was period of few days when power was off for hours everyday and everythin survived, little stressed but alive.....
