do my power head placements look ok according to the picture each one does 792 gph the tank is 40 gallons 30 inches long, 18 inches deep and 18 inches front to back

Could you take a picture from the front so we can see the height of the powerheads? Also keep an eye on detritus build up you will see dead spots and can adjust accordingly.

If you want to see your flow pattern, if you have something like say AB+ or really anything colored you will see if you have any dead spots that way. It's going to be hard for us to tell by a picture.

For example, see how he drops the green liquid and you can see where the flow sends it, this IMO is a great way to check dead spots. AB+ is good too whenever you get corals LOL.

Ok cool thank for the help i can show you more images soon i powerhead was vibrating it was a case of broken shaft im gonna replace it with a stainless steel shaft
