Powerhead Setups

I have a 125 gallon 6' tank and was just wondering what is the best way to setup power heads I have 2 1300gph.

I would point them at ea other to create an alternating gyre effect

I would put both at the same end placed at the same heightin the top third of the tank. You'll get a really nice gyre going. Ideally you would have one pump at each end and alternate them so you'd get a reversing gyre. But 1300ghp isn't going to push enough water across a 6' tank to get a good gyre going.
