Im looking for a powerhead that is compatible with battery backup. Im using it for a 30 gallon frag tank that will be used as a quarantine/temporary observation tank . Don't want to spend the money on a mp10 unless I have to. Any recommendations? Was also wondering if the Jecod DMP-10 comes with battery backup? Thx

Many of my Jebao’s work fine on battery, however, they won’t last much beyond 12 hours before battery is exhausted, or at least, mine.

Then you’ll need to recharge.

SW8, OW10, are examples but most should work, at least with the Ice Cap

But for me, the battery was a separate item.

I have a 150 AH Lithium battery that I'm using for an MP40 on my main display. Was going to connect to it as well.

All you need to do is have the battery connected to a charger and an inverter. Then plug the powerhead in the inverter. Most powerheads will be 20v or 24v and would require a step up transformer if you wanted to run dc to dc. This would yield longer runtime
