So did a lot of us get scammed? Is there 2 Richard Negret? I'm sure the Richard everyone is talking about is Richard Negret...now if there's an imposter out there then I'd like to know as well because I just got a few chalices from "Richard Negret"...the same "rnegret258" on eBay (he ships his stuff out from Florida if I remember correctly).

Now if you're not that "Richard" then I think everyone's not talking about you.

I actually have 3 corals which are probably the same thing. The largest one (pictured earlier) came from DITR to RN to Jason Fox then to me. The other one came from Vivid Aquariums and was sold as Jack's Favia. I have another that came from someone out in Cali but I'm not sure who. I used to think all three were different corals, but as time has gone on they all look the same now. I traded a piece of the DITR/RN PPE with Victor at WWC and have not traded/sold anymore.

I had a beautiful 7 poly frag, started as a one eye from Richard Negret. got stung by one of my chalices last night and liquified 3 eyes. Down to 4 eyes now.

On my frags.org I call it Issey's PPE chalice/favia. It is just beautiful and it really does look that blue under my 20k radiums. =)

Price wise you can pm me if you interested. Thanks,

Zach,

you favia looks better than mine since it changed colors. Mine used to get coloration like yours when I had it under 8T5s, but no more under MH's

Yeah, that seems to be the trend. I keep mine under T-5's and it looks awesome, and also does under most of my friend's tanks, but there are a couple with MH and their colors haven't been as good. 20K radiums seem to do the trick too, but not everyone runs those. I have one person I sold a frag to who is running HQI 10Ks and he says his has looked brown from day 1. Lower intensity also seems to help deepen the colors.

I am running 14K Hamilton (2-400 Watt, 3-250 Watt) in an 340 gallon 8 foot tank (30in deep). Should I put this coral in a shaded area? Should I change my 250 Watt bulbs to 20k?

I have mine under 250MH' 4/5th up the tank directly under the bulb. It's colored up since being moved there from the bottom of m tank.
