Hi-

I am considering purchasing a ProfiLux, KH, Ion, Maxi, and several dosers for a new tank.

Do I need additional PABs for the above set up?

Does KH and Ion each require a doser or can they share?

In this set up, the dosers would be slaves not standalone units, correct?

Thanks for your help!

Anyone know the answers? @Vinny@GHLUSA?

With a P4 setup, you would need a KHD Slave Set and IOND Slave Set.

Each set comes with its own doser which is used to feed each device. The same doser also comes with an extra head which you can use for dosing your Ca or KH supplement. These sets are connected to the P4 system with a PAB cable.

For your proposed setup, you would need at least 3 PAB cables plus however many extra dosing units you plan to add.

Daisy chain.

All PAB devices, including the P4 have 2 PAB ports so you can connect one device off of another. You will always have at least one open PAB port.
