Does definitely look similar to that, but much smaller. I guess it’s hard to tell right now with its current size. I’ll have to wait until he grows up a bit more to see what he truly is. Thanks for all the help! For now, I’m gonna go with your guess, @Lovemyreef2015

Make sure to post a update when it gets bigger!:)

Super cool is what it is
Lol, yeah. Still wanna figure it out, though :( I put it in a quarantine tank and will probably take it to my LFS tomorrow to see if they can figure out what the heck it is. I can’t have it in my tank because it bothers my corals.

Those look adorable omg.
I have a soft heart for this little guy. He's been bothering my bird's nest and leptastrea, so I just had to remove him. I don't really know what the heck to do with him now, though. He's just hanging out with a clown goby in quarantine.

Cool little guy!
Agreed :) I was thinking of setting up a little tank for him if I decide to keep him. Problem is he'll probably get big. He shed a month or so ago. Seems to be a fairly slow grower.

Thanks :) I’ll see if I can find him today in the quarantine tank so I can take him to my LFS.

It would be so cool if I discovered a new species lol. It definitely has a similar body shape to the majidae crabs, but I can’t find the color pattern in any of the pictures I see online. The shape looks closer to the majidae than the gall crab. I don’t know if I mentioned this, but a while back, I collected some stuff from the ocean and put it in the tank. That’s most likely where he came from.

Uh, I found another crab. Completely different, but do you guys know what it is? I need to catch it somehow to get it away from my corals. I don’t trust any crabs.
