Nice. I got it for $37 so I got a decent deal on it then.$40 or $50 for it, I was just at my LFS and they have some large colonies that looks identical to that color and they are $50 a head.
I've noticed that LFS sometimes have better deals. You just have to look. For corals my go to place is Tongs and Huntington. They have some no name frags from 25-35.I have purchased similar for $35 by scouring the local fish stores until I see a good deal
That's sweet for 30Found this treasure in the $30 section

I try to buy locally and not have them shipped unless necessary (JF Homewreacker or dragon soul torch). I've noticed better and faster coloration from local compared with shipped corals.Definitely search lfs’s online is usually higher priced and then you have to pay for shipping
Yes, corals bought online come without color tooI try to buy locally and not have them shipped unless necessary (JF Homewreacker or dragon soul torch). I've noticed better and faster coloration from local compared with shipped corals.
Nive mushroom BTW. It really depends where you source local or web. I'm no penny pincher but a big impulse buyer so I make sure I check out first before diving in.I mean I ordered from.world wide corals the other day and I got a beautiful ricordia Yuma and it seems like my local fish store is way more expensive than online. And if you get enough where it's free shipping it's not to bad as long as the online source is reputable. I have that torch, acan, and bird'snest coming tomorrow morning. And that's from Unique corals so I'm going to see what place is better to order from.![]()
I hear you on that!Nive mushroom BTW. It really depends where you source local or web. I'm no penny pincher but a big impulse buyer so I make sure I check out first before diving in.
I can agree with that. But when buying online if you have a solid source sometimes that extra few bucks is worth it. Plus I only have 2 decent stores where I am and they are actually more than the web. Have you ever tried unique corals?World wide corals is a bit overpriced imo. I live in Florida and made the drive to their facility... some were overpriced, some were a good deal. All the corals on their website are overpriced
Nope. I never buy online.I can agree with that. But when buying online if you have a solid source sometimes that extra few bucks is worth it. Plus I only have 2 decent stores where I am and they are actually more than the web. Have you ever tried unique corals?
