Here is my old 125 gallon. I should have taken more pictures. It was a hodge podge tank

Received the Pro Star 230 peninsula today. I absolutely love it so far!
For the money, being over $1k less (?) Than Waterbox box or Red Sea Reefer, I like it! It doesn't have a fancy overflow. But the plumbing was complete, easy to set up. The sumpnis large. I still have to clean up my wiring and controllers. I havent even put my lights on yet.
The only bad part about this set up... the stand has a cut out for the plumbing on one end only.

I'll be using 4 Kessil A360X with controller. Reef octopus 200 classic int skimmer. Gyre XF350 wave pump. A cheap Jebao return pump. I also need to get my Apex system up and running.

This was my old set up in a 125 gallon. It had an open stand and could see all equipment.

Here is the Pro Star 230 Peninsula. Stand comes assembled. The stand is stacked on top of the tank. That makes it very easy to set up. The sump is anchored in the stand. ALL plumbing comes with it. It has a valve on each drain to the sump. And the plumbing is pre-assembled. Each compartment of the sump is covered. Has a 3 Gallon ATO with a float valve installed. Sump has a large area for refugium with a glass cover so a light can be placed above. The stand has aluminum bracing. It even has a power strip built in. It comes with 6 spaces for filter socks and it came shipped with 6, 4"x8" filter socks.

The only thing I don't like is that the stand only has one cut out for the plumbing. Which makes sense because the plumbing is pre assembled and ready to just put o-rings in and screw together.

I have never set eyes on a Waterbox or a Red Sea in person. But this tank was about hundreds less than the closest competitor.
