This is what I did to get Dinoflagellates out of my tank.
1. I started dosing H2O2 (1ml per 10 gal. of water and increase every other day until I did 2 ml per every 10 gal.) twice a day.
2. I removed 100% of my sandbed.
3. I used a wavemaker to remove all Dinoflagellates from rocks and the bottom of the tank. After making my tank a mess, I used one return pump in my display and a filter sock and make the water ran through it. (I did this every day the first week and then every other day)
4. I have my UV sterilizer on.
5. Change filter sock in my sump every day.
6. I started running micro bubbles in my tank for 6 hours a day.
7. I used Vibrant.
The last 2 steps showed a lot of improvement in my tank.
If you have any question please ask. I will try my best to help you.
This require a lot of work and time! I have been 2 weeks clean and I hope it will stay clean.
