I’m curious how do you maintain your probes? I have this white crusty calcification on my sump and am going to clean out my sump with my next water change. Should I soak them in a vinegar solution? Will they get damaged if I soak them in a vinegar solution, I’m planning on recalibrating them afterwards. Let me know

I soak mine in 50% vinegar / 50% RO/DI for about an hour and use a soft toothbrush to gently remove any remaining crud. Then a thorough rinse with RO/DI before mounting them back in the sump and recalibrating. I do this about every 6 months.

Thanks guys I appreciate it. I wasn’t sure if the vinegar would ruin them.
