I'm new with coral. I bought a leather, don't know the name of this type. But it was large and all plump two days ago. Now it's slowly laying over and not looking good. What should I do?

Having the same problem with one i bought a while back. I have read that some will do this then come back stronger. Mine on the other hand has layed over, regrouped itsself, now has layed over again. Not too sure myself but I would give it a minute. I know they are one of the more hardy soft corals. Hope this helps, and if I'm wrong , please correct me old salts.

Can you post a picture? Many leathers go through cycles where they will stand up straight, and then they will lay over for a time. It's normal. Leathers will also shed their exterior coating from time to time as a way of cleaning themselves. As long as parts of the leather don't seem to be dissolving away or turning to brown mush, it's probably ok, but a picture would help to see if there is any problem. We'd probably be able to tell you what kind of leather it is as well.
