Problems with Nyos 220 continue to overflow!! 😭

Good evening group, I have a problem with my Nyos 220 skimmer, for health reasons I was away from home for more than 13 days, but not before turning off my skimmer. I turned it off because the day before entering an emergency operation, the skimmer cup was about to overflow since at home my wife doesn't know anything about the reef, when I return home after several days, I went to wash the cup and turn on the skimmer but it went crazy and keeps overflowing and releasing foam through the cup vents. It's been 3 days since I left it on to stabilize but it just won't stabilize and the truth is I'm already worried about my tank after 15 days without a skimmer, before my surgery the skimmer worked excellent, I have it at a height of 23 cm of water and I had never had problems with my previous 160 or with the 220, everything happened because I left it off for several days. Could someone help me solve this, I'm worried about my tank. Thank you very much in advance to everyone.

I didn't answer because I wanted to let someone who knows better than I do...

Was anything new introduced to your tank recently? Do you dose anything?

Your tank may have extra organics now from the skimmer not running. I suspect it will sort itself out shortly.

Es posible que tu acuario tenga materia orgánica extra porque el skimmer no funciona. Sospecho que se solucionará pronto.

You're probably right. I think you'd be fine to collect the skimmate so long as you top up with saltwater. Good luck, keep us updated with how it goes!
