Hi,

I'm currently dosing one vial of biodigest every 2 weeks in my 150g as per instructions. I'm also running AIO biopellets as a carbon source and periodically add bioptim to supplement.

My question is: it seems that prodibio is suggesting that biodigest becomes increasingly effective after a two week period, hence the dosage of 1 vial per two weeks. But won't skimming remove biodigest and bioptim, rendering them useless?

Anyone? I personally have no idea, but here's a little bump.

Why are you adding these products? Are they probiotics? If so, yes skimming will remove them, from my readings however, I would be a little careful adding unknown products to a reef, the long term effects could outweigh short term benefits

From my experience I believe Biodigest contains a carbon source. When I dosed it (I stopped for a while now letting the tank settle in), I notice like 5x more efficient skimming clearer water and less algae growth. Dosing is a scheduled thing. It'll be continually replaced since you're dosing every 2 weeks
