I have Profilux 4, KH director and 3 dosing pumps in my Red Sea max S 650. I connected everything and I managed to set up KH director and all sensors (PH, salinity...). Now I want to set up next and I need help how to do it:
- to set up skimmer to turn off and on for cca 1 hour when the dosing take place (reef energy A+B)
I'm a little bit stupid :) so please can somebody explain me step by step...
Thx in advance from Croatia :)

No question is a bad question @zagi23 :)

Is your cca dosing the same time each day? And if so what time would you like the skimmer to be off at :) (sorry had to edit post said Doser before)

What outlet is your skimmer plugged into now on the Powerbar.

I want to set up dosing at the same time every day (23:05) and I want the skimmer to go off from 23:00-00:00.
Skimmer is not yet connected to Powerbar, so I need help for complete set up of this.

Have you connected the Powerbar?

Do you need me to include those steps also?

Did you assign the ports to the Powerbar after you connected it?

And if so what port are you planning on plugging your skimmer into :)

No, I didn't assign the ports. All my ports are free, so we can start form first.

Using the GCC desktop app, you can click system then click on your Powerbar and choose configure.
power_bar1.jpg

This is where you set the switch port numbers :)
Ok now that we have made sure they are 1-5

We need to click process then timer 1.
We are now going to set the on and off time for the skimmer :)

Click on new
Set the start time at 12:00am end time 11:00pm
timer_on.png

Click OK

Then on Specific Days of the Week click: Monday Tuesday Wednesday Thursday Friday
Description: What ever you wish :)

Click Save settings
Now we need to assign the timer to the switchport

Click again on system
Then click on Switch Channel and Outlets
Choose S1 (This is the one your going to plug your skimmer into :)

Function: Timer Choose 1 (This is the one you set up in the step before)
Description: Skimmer
in Profilux: Skimmer
Blackout Delay: Is used to tell the skimmer to turn on after X minutes after power is lost
Click Ok

Then Save Settings Again.

Plug your skimmer into Powerbar SW1 and your set to go :)
