This is interesting, but I can't see wall mounting it due to all the wires that need to connect to it. I too am curious about the price and will seriously consider this since I'm in the market for my first controller. I wanted to go with a 2016 Apex but I just can't get over the kiddie look of that whole setup. The GHL equipment looks so much more professional.

That said, I could get away with a reefkeeper as all I really want to monitor is temp and pH.

The wires just plug in the the bottom edge of the controller so it can be mounted up out of the way. The way the profilux handles powerbars and other bits is by a Cat 5 cable daisy chained from one to the next.

For users who are just starting out this is a great alternative, or do not need the additional functionality that the P4e or P4 have.

I do like how they are also thinking ahead:

*) Adapter for connection of level sensors and automatic feeder currently still in preparation, available from winter 2019.

I’m sure the GHL team will correct me if I’m wrong, but I believe the 4 way plugbar (which can be used with the mini) is not digital/PAB and therefore can’t be daisy chained. Therefore with the Profilux mini you can only control 4 sockets max.

Your right on that powerbar only 4 outlets allowed. Didn't catch that bit.You also have 4 1-10 volt control too so make sure you get a 1-10 volt DC pump for your return.

Can I use the mini just for salinity and temp for my mixing station??? That would be awesome. Make sure salinity and temp is matching tank before I pump it 30 feet to tank.

Do not see salinity mentioned in the Profilux Mini WiFi page.

@Tristren - not sure of the multifunction port is a pab port for the expansion box to connect to. But if it was that would be interesting, if the port does support a expansion box..
