Proper sump size

I want to run a 60 gallon display. A 20 gallon frag tank next to it

I want to plumb both tanks to the same sump

What gallon sump should I be using. 35?

Use whatever size needed for your filtration and fits under your stand.. I use a 35 on my 180...

I think there's is no ratio or some kind for total water volume for sumps. As mentioned previously, whatever conveniently you can put under your stand.

I've seen Nano tanks that have bigger sump than their DT's. Hehe
