Yup, I have gates under both, real sensitive to the point of annoying, I would have preferred it didn't run so high, would have liked an inch, but for silence, it runs only 1/2" from the rim, so wave action must be limited.
Appears well built using 19mm glass, but some magnet stuff won't stick.
Don't get me wrong, I will make it work, just wondering the logic in 2 outflows same height, first I have ever heard of.

If someone can tell me what advantage this is, I would love to hear it.

Hello again! I haven’t posted any updates on the tank. I finally got everything going over this past summer. I also was surprised with a plumbed laundry sink for my RODI. Enjoy! FOWLR at this time. I’m curious about corals but have no experience and haven’t researched - TBD. I also had a scare where my clown jumped out one night, hit the back wall, and I had to go through the cabinet to find her on the ground. She had a scare but has since nursed back to health, see pictures. Everything seems to be doing well.
