Just some friendly advice to protect yourself when you have packages sent to your house.

After getting burned a couple times with damaged items showing up and being told it worked when it was shipped, I decided to protect myself and my money.

For the last 5 years I open up all my packages in my living room in front of my nest cam. I will show the box sealed then open, unpack items and inspect.

This has saved me 3 times over the years by doing this so I can dispute what they shipped me.

2 other occasions ups said they delivered and never showed up. Items magically appeared 3 days later after I sent the video to ups. One Fedex driver slammed and $1000 plus package on my porch destroying my item. Video saved me on that one too.

This is for all packages in general.

good advice, I have done that using Ring especially with Amazon and their deliveries

As a delivery person myself i treat all my deliveries as if they contained glass... all my customers love me, i even put there packages in plastic bags when it rains. There is always someone watching or videotaping. If i feel that something is wrong with the package and the person isn't home i will leave a note with it that i marked the box in my board that it's possibly damaged so if they do call the company will have a note on it.
