Protein Skimmer Carbon Cap

Does anyone know where I can get a carbon cap for my Reef Ultra UKS 160 protein skimmer to help control the gas odors emitted from the protein skimmer? ReefEcho makes a product called STINK-SINK which looks amazing but they have been out of stock for some time.

Couldn't you just lay a mesh bag of GAC on top or is appearance important? I use women's knee highs for carbon bags.

Clean it more often. Skimmers shouldn’t stink.
