Protein skimmer help pt2

Is there anyway to correct this? I have to clean it atleast once a day bc it overflows like this. Anything would be helpful!

Adjust the water level down or raise the skimmer up on a stand. It’s kinda normal if you didn’t have a skimmer before as the nasties have built up but over time it will calm down and catch up.
 
does the cup have a overflow discharge connection? If so, hose it to a empty coke/water bottle in the sump.....

That works well. I used a one gallon Tupperware container.

It does, it’s a bubble Magnus it’s standard.. hard part is the sump walls are so high he can’t use one externally… it would have to float in the sump lol.

Thats what I envisioned......just hang a bottle next to skimmer....easier than taking cup out all the time
