Just recently got a curve 5 for my 130 and I got it from Facebook marketplace used but essentially brand new. For the past three days it just been overflowing like crazy and I have tried adjusting it and the water level but nothing is working please help.what could be going on?

mine isn't a curve5 but typically does the same thing.
What has worked for me to get around it is to buy a sheet of light diffuser (sometimes called eggcrate) and cut a few pieces big enough that they fit the footprint of your skimmer. Open up the water level adjust and stack the pieces up underneath the skimmer raising it higher out of the water which should make it tough for the skimmer to push the bubbles high enough to overflow.
every couple of days remove another piece until your skimmer is back sitting on the bottom and finish by finding the spot you like on the water level adjustment for a wetter or drier skim.
you should be golden!

Awesome okay and another question will the micro bubbles my skimmer is producing eventually go away?

To me the water level is high. I have the same skimmer, the water comes up about 6"-7". Try raising the skimmer, see if it helps.

Yes they should.
Typically when the water line inside the skimmer is riding too high the bubbles circle back down and get exhausted out the skimmer outlet. when its working right there shouldn't be any micro-bubbles to deal with.
