I recently (about 2 weeks ago) upgraded to the psk1000 pump. The problem im having is no control of the water level in the skimmer. The new pump moves more water (or more bubbles) and pushes the water level in the skimmer neck half way up the collection cup, this is with the control valve 100% open, the skimmer is in 6" of water. Skimmate is a little wetter than I prefer. Any suggestions?

If you haven't glued the long section of the output pipe, try replacing it with a temporary piece about an inch shorter. This should allow you to run the water level a little lower. If that works for you, then just cut down the grey pipe as needed. Let me know if this works for you. Sorry for the late reply!

No i never glued the pvc per the instructions ;) I'll try a shorter piece of pvc and see what happens.
