Hey everyone, I currently have 2 engineer goby’s who are ~3in long now, but I know will outgrow the tank they are in rather soon. I’m planning on upgrading to either a 150 or 210, but have also been playing around with the idea of getting a porcupine puffer. I’ll probably only get the puffer if they work out well though, because my gobies are awesome. Has anyone had experience keeping them together? Thanks!

This really depends on the puffer! They are like people and all have different personalities. I personally wouldn’t get a small fish like that with a porky because as a general rule off it can fit in its mouth it can become a snack so that includes many/most smaller species of fish.

If a small one - Huge risk. Would not put in less than 6" specimen.

I plan on letting the engineer grow a decent bit before I would add it if I’m keeping them together, thanks!
