Argh, no. I wasn't even filming it on my camera...it swam into view! And then swam away.

One of the two Diodon species in that area. Probably Diodon hystrix based on the spots - but those usually have spots on the fins and I can't see that in the video. Diodon holacanthus is more common, but usually has dark saddles on its back and no spots.

Thanks! This was taken on the same day that I saw the angelfish. I've never seen a puffer near the beach, either; I recall that this was an extra high tide at the winter soltice, so it must have drawn the reef fish out to the other side of the island.

I saw a 14” porcupine near the ship docks at Nassau. A local was actually feeding it Burger King bun pieces from the dock.

Those docks are an environmental mess. I don't go scuba diving, and so that's still the first and only place that I've seen lionfish in the wild.

Lionfish are a whole other story. I haven't been diving or snorkeling in 2.5 years now but I've seen Lionfish throughout the Caribbean From Belize to the Florida Keys :angry-face: I've always wanted to do a Lionfish Derby
