Puffer in 20g

Would it be possible to keep a young Bennett’s puffer in a 20 gallon for a year? Also interested in a leopard puffer (canthigaster leoparda) or maybe a blue spotted. Valentini possibly, just wouldn’t be my first pick if I had other options.
Thanks! I know liveaquaria recommends 50 gallons for most of those, 30 for the Valentini and leopard. Hoping to get a small one and then get him in a larger tank in a year

for a year yeah, but then upgrade at least 15 gallons imo
