My Xenia has been doing great and growing from a small frag months ago. all of a sudden it turned dark purple and shed off all its polyp fingers. I did an iodine dip a week ago and now its gaining its fingers back but still very hurtin. I turned it 180 cause the flow was pushing it over and found a hole in the stalk with fiber like stuff sticking out. Also looks like the base is sprouting polyps, maybe the head is dying and it will regrow from the foot...... any suggestions?

What are your nutrient numbers ?

And a picture with more white would be useful

My sump is FULL of green hair algae that is using all the nutrience in the tank test kits show 0 phos/nitrate. just removed biopellets from this system so they should start to rise soon.
heres a crusty yellow pic. I turkey blastered the dead stuff out of the hole.

I did a tlf revive dip and put it in my big tank. It has higher nutrient levels. Im removing everything that needs feeding from this 38g cube and will starve the algae out. Will be sps only tank.
